On September 5th, the College of Arts and Sciences’ Center for Career Success at The Ohio State University proudly hosted the Tech and Analytics Career Fair. This premier event provided opportunities for students pursuing careers in technology, data, economics, and analytics. The fair featured an impressive lineup of 45 employers, including Nationwide, Procter & Gamble, the National Security Agency, and GE Aerospace. Over 1,200 students and alumni attended to network with industry leaders.
Held in the Archie Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union, the fair offered an ideal environment for students to connect with representatives from top tech and analytics organizations. The layout encouraged meaningful conversations, allowing students to explore a wide range of career paths.
Post-event surveys revealed that 74% of respondents reported a stronger understanding of their career goals following the fair. Additionally, 70% felt more optimistic about their future career outcomes and professional abilities. On average, students spoke with five different employers, fostering valuable networking opportunities.
We extend our sincere thanks to the participating employers, whose presence and engagement contributed to the success of the fair. Their insights and connections are invaluable to our students as they navigate their career paths. We also commend our students for their enthusiasm and active participation, which played a key role in making the Tech and Analytics Career Fair a success.
