Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Career Treks and Immersions

Explore careers. Build connections. Discover your path.

At the College of Arts and Sciences, we believe that career exploration should go beyond the classroom. That’s why the Center for Career and Professional Success offers Career Treks and Immersions — dynamic, short-term experiences that connect students with professionals, alumni, and organizations across Columbus, the region, and top U.S. cities.
These experiences are designed to help students gain real-world insight into a variety of industries, build meaningful connections, and take confident steps toward their future careers.

What to Expect

Career Treks and Immersions are:
  • Experiential: Students tour workplaces, network and learn more about their areas of career interest.
  • Connected: Each experience includes opportunities to network with Ohio State alumni and industry professionals.
  • Focused: Treks are tailored to focused career areas, helping students explore paths aligned with their interests and majors.
  • Transformational: Students return with greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.
