Career Success is excited to welcome its newest team member, Zach Howman, who has joined as an Assistant Director of Industry Connections, with an industry focus on
business, finance, consulting, technology, data and analytics, and media and communications. 

Originally from Athens, Ohio, Howman brings experience connecting students with employers across institutions. Before joining Career Success, Howman served as a Senior Career Advisor for Ohio State’s holistic student success center, Buckeye Commons. Prior to that, he worked at the University of Notre Dame as an Employer Engagement Specialist in the Office of Career Development.

In his new role with Career Success, Howman hopes to create more meaningful connections between students and their top employer target.

“My goal is to expand immersion opportunities with both existing and new employer
partners, giving students hands-on experiences that help them explore career paths more
deeply and connect with possible future employers.”

Howman also plans to build additional avenues for employers to engage on campus through events, classroom collaborations, and innovative partnership programs, helping students access the insights, networks, and opportunities necessary for their future careers.

Outside of work, Howman enjoys playing video games, D&D, and board games with friends. He also loves playing and watching sports and currently plays on a volleyball team with some of his college friends.
