Career Success Welcomes Rachel Long as New Career Studio Coordinator
The Center for Career Success at The Ohio State University is pleased to announce the addition of Rachel Long to our team in the new role of Career Studio Coordinator. Long, from Ashland, Ohio, completed her undergraduate studies at Capital University, earning a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication. She furthered her education with a master's in Education from Ohio University, gaining substantial experience in college student personnel.
Before joining Ohio State, Long participated in the Disney College Program and subsequently held professional positions focusing on first-year programming at the University of Central Florida and campus involvement at Rollins College. Having spent over two years in Florida, Rachel and her husband share a passion for student support and engagement, a foundation laid during their time at Ohio University. They enjoy outdoor activities, including camping and walking their dog, Joplin.
In her capacity as Career Studio Coordinator, Long is committed to positively impacting students' lives, with a particular focus on supporting minoritized student populations. This commitment underscores the Center for Career Success's dedication to providing inclusive and comprehensive support services.
