City Year is a national service program to unite young adults from diverse backgrounds for a demanding year of full-time community service. More than 3,000 members serving in 29 US cities, as well as in South Africa and the UK. Service helps people develop into leaders, problem solvers, and more active citizens.
Peace Corps volunteers put their purpose, passion, and skills to work in partnership with host communities in more than 60 countries. Mission: To promote world peace and friendship through community-based development and intercultural understanding.
