Six Ohio State Students Discover Opportunities at Fidelity Investments

Panel of Fidelity employees answer questions from Ohio State students

We are excited to share the incredible experience of six Ohio State students who toured the expansive Fidelity Investments regional corporate office in Covington, Kentucky. The facility includes three buildings, employs more than 5,500 people across 87 units, and spans over 200 acres, featuring a nature preserve and an organic farm. Jenna Conn, University Relationship Lead, was thrilled to host her fellow Buckeyes, guiding an engaging agenda that introduced students to the company’s culture and career opportunities.

The day began with an overview of Fidelity Investments, highlighting available internship opportunities and benefits for staff and interns. Following this, students took a walking tour of two of the three buildings, which included a stroll through the nature preserve and a visit to the organic farm, showcasing the company’s commitment to sustainability. During the tour, students met several employees and saw various amenities, such as a 24-hour fitness center, training and testing centers, a career center, a tech guru center, and a health and wellness center.

After the tour, students attended a networking lunch with a panel of Fidelity employees, including two Ohio State alumni. This setting allowed the students to connect with professionals and gain insight into the work environment and potential career paths at Fidelity. The lunch was followed by a Q&A session, where students posed questions to the panelists, furthering their understanding of the company and its internship programs.

The students’ day ended with additional time spent with the panelists before going outside for a group photo. Jenna Conn expressed her excitement at taking an O-H-I-O photo with the group, symbolizing the strong connection between Fidelity and Ohio State. This collaborative effort, supported by the Fisher College of Business and Audrey Bledsoe, Director of Undergraduate Career Services and Education, provided a valuable and personalized experience for the students, all of whom expressed their intent to apply for internships with the company.
