2025 Arts, Creative and Design Career Fair Connects 130 Students With Top Employers
On November 8th, The Ohio State University’s Center for Career Success hosted its 2025 Arts, Creative and Design Career Fair at the Ohio Union from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Great Hall.
This year’s fair connected students with the greatest number of employers from various fields within the visual, written, and performing arts since it began in 2023. Notable employers included The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA), Opera Columbus, Shadowbox Live, and The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio – all participating for the first time!
Over 130 students were in attendance, representing a range of disciplines. Students majored in Animation, Arts Management, Dance, Design, Film Studies, Moving Image Production, Theatre, Visual Communication, and various other fields. Many also utilized the on-site Practice Zones, a pilot feature of the Arts & Sciences Career Studio. Over 25 practiced their conversation skills and workshopped their elevator pitches with student peer career coaches for a confidence boost before speaking with employers. Also popular were the portfolio reviews hosted by Spacejunk.
We extend our thanks to all participating employers, students, and career professionals for making this year’s final Arts & Sciences career fair a success. Be sure to check Handshake for upcoming events. You won’t want to miss out on the 2026 Spring Career Fair, which will be held on Tuesday, January 20, in the Ohio Union’s Grand Ballroom and Performance Hall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – the university’s largest annual job and internship fair for students of all backgrounds!
