Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is a law enforcement agency in the United States Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products. They partner with communities, industries, law enforcement, and public safety agencies to safeguard the public they serve through information sharing, training, research, and use of technology.

Antonio Johnson, Special Agent based in Columbus, Ohio, will share his insights into the work of an ATF agent, the various career paths available, and the type of skills and experiences they are looking for in candidates. This event is a great opportunity to peek behind the curtain of the ATF and hear directly from an insider. Could this be the career for you? Come find out!
