2026 Tech & Analytics Career Fair
On September 2nd, The Ohio State University’s Center for Career Success hosted the 2026 Tech & Analytics Career Fair at the Ohio Union. This event was for students seeking opportunities in the technology, data, economics, AI and analytics-related fields was held in the Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom. The Fair was co-sponsored by the Business Data Analytics Association (BDAA).
The event attracted over 640 students, representing over 120 majors and nine colleges. It welcomed more than 50 organizations to network recruiters and industry professionals with for students and recent alumni, explore internship and full-time job opportunities, learn about emerging industry trends, practice professional communication skills and build connections that could support their future careers.
Employers represented a variety of industries, demonstrating that analytical and technical skills continue to be valuable across sectors. There is demand for students with skills in data analytics, artificial intelligence, software and technology, economic analysis, statistics and quantitative problem-solving. Organizations are increasingly relying on data driven decision making and those who can translate information into actionable insights.
Ohio State students are now being prepared for the evolving workface involving artificial intelligence with strategies such as AI Fluency and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. The fair had conversations that reflected the growing influence of AI and new technologies in the workforce. Here, Ohio State is investing in student learning and growth to plan their futures.
The Tech & Analytics Career Fair is not just about finding employment; it provides students and recent graduates with opportunities to engage with industry professionals and learn about different career paths. This fair served as a chance to strengthen networking skills, gain insight into post-graduate expectations and build confidence in presenting themselves to employers.
