
Join us on April 14 at 5 pm in Psych 014 to meet with Andelyn Biosciences scientists and recruiters. This event will take you behind the scenes of this fast-growing Columbus-based biotech company, providing insight into their operations, the science behind it all, and career avenues.
During the session, Andelyn Biosciences' scientists will:
- Provide a “gene therapy 101”
- Take us through their manufacturing processes, including tech transfer and quality control
- Discuss career and resume-building opportunities available at Andelyn
And Andelyn's lead recruiter will be there to answer any questions related to the recruitment process and the benefits of working at Andelyn.

Presenters from Andelyn include:
Dr. Samir Acharya, Associate Director of Process Development is responsible for Process and Platform Development, their optimization, characterization and technology transfer. Prior to Andelyn Biosciences, he has over 25 years of research experience in mechanisms of genomic instability and pathways of cell survival and proliferation. His expertise is in the fields of biochemistry, molecular & cell biology and cancer. He has extensive experience in assay and method development utilizing tools involving molecular & cell biology, molecular genetics, microbiology, microscopy, protein purification, biochemical/biophysical analyses and enzyme kinetics.
Kevin McGarry, Jr., PhD currently serves as a manager on the Analytical Development team at Andelyn. Dr. McGarry's additional experience includes expertise in the biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiological, and neurological aspects of both chemical and biological threat agents, as well as countermeasures to combat these threats.
Kristen Shutt, a graduate of THE Ohio State University, currently supports Andelyn Biosciences as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner. She comes to us with nine years of experience in Talent Acquisition with the last six years focused on science and research. Kristen is passionate about research and bringing new talent into our growing organization.
