ASC Career Success and the School of Environment and Natural Resources will be hosting an Immersion Day Experience in the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Natural Resources Park next to the Ohio State Fairgrounds on Friday, September 27, 2024.
This Immersion Day opportunity allows students an exciting opportunity to speak to recruiters and program administrators from 6 participating ODNR Divisions: Forestry, Geological Survey, H2Ohio (Water Resources), Natural Areas & Preserves, Parks & Watercraft, and Wildlife.
During this visit, you can expect to attend presentation sessions with two divisions of your choice, followed by a “career fair” style session where you may visit the division(s) of your choosing! You may use this time to learn more about the divisions you spent an earlier session with and/or seek out other divisions of interest. The Immersion Experience concludes with an internship Q&A.
ASC Career Success and SENR will provide transportation to the Natural Resources Park (Natural Resources Park, 632 E 11th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211). The bus will depart at 1:00 PM and 1:15 PM, with preference given to those students who have pre-registered.
The bus will return to the Ohio Union at 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM. In the case of maximum capacity, the COTA bus (#8 and #22) will provide transportation within a ~10 minute bus ride from the Ohio Union. You are also welcome to get to the Natural Resources Park on your own if you prefer.
