Ohio State's College of Arts and Sciences Career Success will host 15 graduate-level students with strong interests in pursuing careers in the R&D health space for an Immersion Experience to Battelle on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Battelle is the largest independent nonprofit applied science and technology organization in the world. They support a diverse spectrum of clients, from small start-up companies to multinational corporations and government agencies. Their work spans public health, clinical research, non-clinical research, and medical devices/solutions.
In this visit, health-interested students will learn about Battelle, their internship/career opportunities, and go behind the scenes to tour their Health and Medical Device laboratories. OSU Alumni and current Battelle scientists will present several projects they’ve done at Battelle Innovating with Impact, giving insight into some of Battelle’s work within molecular genetics.
This event offers an exciting opportunity for graduate-level students and postdocs to explore career paths at Battelle. Attendees can expect to experience the company's collaborative and innovative work environment firsthand, while also building connections and gaining knowledge related to building a career in health R&D.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the work and US government contract restrictions, Battelle is significantly limited in their ability to offer employment opportunities to non-US persons. Non-US persons can still apply for and attend the Immersion Day if interested.
Spots on this visit are limited to 15 students and are not guaranteed.
