The College of Arts and Sciences will host the ASC: Dublin Police Office Hours on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm in Room 168 of Denney Hall, located at 164 Annie John Glenn Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. This event offers students the chance to connect with the Dublin Police Department and learn more about careers in law enforcement. A highlight of the session will be the opportunity to meet alum Sgt. Ian Kovacs, class of 2018, who will share his experiences and insights about police life.

New this year, the Dublin Police Department is introducing a paid internship program that begins in January 2026. Students interested in applying should note that the deadline for internship applications is November 24, 2025, while the deadline for entry-level police officer applications is November 30, 2025. Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and questions, as recruiters will be available to discuss the agency, the hiring process, pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

This event is designed to provide valuable information for anyone considering a career in policing, while also offering a chance to network with alumni and recruiters in a supportive environment.
