Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Browning Public Policy Fund

Shape Policy, Shape the Future: Apply for the Browning Public Policy Fund

Are you interested in making a meaningful impact through public policy?

The Browning Public Policy Fund, a specialized sub-fund of the Career Accelerator Fund (CAF), offers financial support to students pursuing experiential learning opportunities in public policy and related fields. This fund is intended to help students engage in work that contributes to positive societal change and prepares them for careers in public service.

Students who wish to be considered for this sub-fund must address their interest in their statement of purpose. Be sure to clearly explain:

  • How do your academic or professional goals align with the focus of the Browning Public Policy Fund?
  • How would this support contribute to your development and future impact?
  • What motivates your interest in public policy or public service?
  • How would this opportunity enhance your learning or career readiness?
  • What kind of change do you hope to contribute to through your work?

Note: Selection for funding does not guarantee support from a specific sub-fund. However, your application helps us match you with the most relevant opportunities. Consideration for a sub-fund will not affect your eligibility or selection for the Primary Fund.
